Documents

MEISTRO Documents is the foundational utility in MEISTRO.core that provides secure, versioned file management within each client’s private Document Container. It enables users to upload, organize, preview, extract, and delete documents and data files—whether they’re raw brochures, product catalogs, engineering drawings, or AI-ready content—while preserving a clear history of editorial changes.

Core Functions

  • Intuitive Upload
    • Drag & drop or traditional file-picker upload
    • Automatic versioning whenever MEISTRO editorializes content (e.g. image or data extraction)
  • On-the-fly Processing
    • Extract images or structured data from PDFs and other supported formats for downstream AI or analytics
  • Secure Storage
    • Files stored in the client’s containerized Document layer of the MEI-Matrix
    • Full audit trail of each version, ensuring traceability

Key Features

  • Metadata Display
    • Full file name, type, and size shown prominently
  • User Controls
    • Delete any file you’ve uploaded or any version MEISTRO generated
  • Automatic Grouping
    • Files grouped by “Provided by you” (private or shared) and “Provided by your team” (Phase 2) based on upload context
  • Flexible Organization
    • Filter and sort across all documents by name, type, size, or upload date

What Documents Does Not Do

  • Does not manage data telemetry or pipelines (handled by MEI Continuum)
  • Does not surface reports or summaries (found in MEI Reports, the MEISTRO Dashboard, or MEI Intelligence history)
  • Does not handle configuration data for MEI Context Manager

Typical Use Cases

  1. Secure Research & Archival
Users bulk-load product catalogs, installation guides, pricing sheets, and brochures to build a private, searchable repository for AI-driven research.
  2. Safe File Storage
Clients store critical documents—those they may never process immediately—knowing everything remains accessible, version-controlled, and exportable.
  3. Plan Digitization for AI
    • EPAT (Electrical Plans): Upload as-built electrical PDFs for automated plan conversion and code analysis.
    • EPAT Phase 2 (Mechanical Plans): Similarly prepare mechanical drawings for intelligent processing by MEI Intelligence and subsequent modules.
  4. Data Extraction for Downstream Workflows
Extracted images, tables, or datasets are instantly available to any MEISTRO module—whether feeding MEI Intelligence’s context cascade or populating asset definitions.

By centralizing document ingestion, versioning, and lightweight processing, MEISTRO Documents ensures that every file you load becomes a governed, secure asset—ready for AI, analysis, or simple archival—while keeping your broader data pipelines, reporting engines, and context services seamlessly decoupled
